Men’s Mental Health – Movember

More than a fifth of men … reported their mental health had worsened compared with before the outbreak of COVID-19 and a third … admitted they felt lonely more often*

Social Research Centre global study

Movember is on a mission to change the face of men’s health. Their aim is to help men to live happier, healthier and longer lives – by focusing on mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer – and we whole-heartedly support them in this cause.

Whether you, or someone you know, is feeling lonely or isolated – or is struggling with addiction, anxiety, anger, depression, stress or other mental illness – it can be difficult to know where to turn or how to make a difference. But help is available.

Practical and solution-focused the HG approach provides mental health support – that works. Since it was first developed over twenty years ago, it has empowered tens of thousands of people to overcome their difficulties and move forward with their lives.

These effective, jargon-free resources include free apps and information and a range of easy-to-access audio downloads – please do use and share them. Together we can make a vital difference to the fathers, brothers, sons, partners and friends in our lives – and to ourselves too.

It is no understatement, or exaggeration, to say that human givens therapy has facilitated nothing short of many miracles for me
